August’s gemstone, Powerful Peridot

Peridot with its signature green colour is one of August’s gemstones and is believed to instill strength, power and influence in the wearer and also known as a powerful cleanser which purifies the body and mind. Sometimes called ‘Evening Emerald’, its luscious light green colour makes it one of the most appealing stones for jewellery, such as my Venetian earrings in sterling silver set with cabochon peridot.

Celebrating Beyond The Reef

This wonderful video captures my most recent Beyond The Reef exhibition at The Sunny Art Centre, one of London’s most exciting contemporary art galleries. Located on the historically and artistically rich Gray’s Inn Road, the gallery is dedicated to sharing the knowledge and passion for fine art pieces. Their enthusiasm, boundless energy and hospitality are second to none and their commitment to courses and supporting London’s many artistic communities is tireless. A gorgeous gem of a gallery celebrating and collaborating with artists for over a decade, I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

The exhibition on show at this most spectacular of venues

The opening night of my latest London exhibition at the Sunny Art Centre was all I could have hoped for. My wonderful partners were the most thoughtful and hospitable of hosts and the visitors were simply delightful. I was overwhelmed by the interest in my Beyond The Reef collection, a celebration inspired by forms found in deep sea reefs.

The exhibition continues until the end of July. I do hope you have the chance to come and see it in the flesh at this most fabulous of venues, and of course I’d love to know what you think of the show.

Discover for yourself my wonderful Reef collection at London’s Sunny Art Centre from July 6th until July 31st.

I’m delighted to be showing my Reef collection, inspired by forms found in deep sea reefs, together with never seen before pieces which we’re unveiling at the Beyond The Reef exhibition.

This exhibition presents a collection of illuminating silver and gold flora and fauna as found in South American reefs, all fused with the seductive and magnetic power of eons-old gems. Once cast in precious metals, Eyre discovered that their aesthetic appeal was enhanced. The curving, twisting structures develop the perfect qualities to become a natural partner for pearls and gems which harmonise with astonishing tones of blues, greens and oranges rendered beyond the delicacy of Nature herself.

Beyond the Reef – Fine Jewellery Exhibition

If you’re looking for the perfect Summer pieces with a twist, my Reef collection is for you.

The collection is inspired by one of the greatest wonders from the world's oceans; the coral reef. For many years I have collected shells; then on a visit to Venezuela in 1999, I noticed pieces of bleached coral amongst the shells. They lay in a drawer in my studio for over a decade until I decided to make a whole collection around them. Once cast in precious metal, they reveal their extraordinarily beautiful structures and become a natural partner for pearls and gems bringing them to life again in this constantly evolving collection.

Enjoy discovering the collection. If you love what you see but want something that’s more unique for you please contact me to discuss a commission piece.
